The Tbox comes with a CD for
programming. There are two ways to program the Tbox. (1) is through
a cable connection (RS-232 to RJ-45 included) and (2) through
GPRS/GSM.
1) Cable Connection: Once the Tbox is wired with 24 volt DC power and cable connected to a PC, it can be programmed. The configuration is through the WEB Browser. (Server)
2) GPRS: This requires a Static IP Address from your Internet Provider. Most residences have a dynamic IP which will not work. ALL Firewalls (modem, cable, Windows) must be turned off. Programming via GPRS is most advantageous when you wish to alter the program when the Tbox is remote and difficult to connect to a computer. All information regarding the Tbox status (inputs, outputs, etc.) may be viewed through this programming browser. (MServer)
The programming or configuration requires three selections:
1) Events. This is what causes the Action. An Input changes (Digital or Analog ) or a Message is received.
2) Action. This is what you wish to have happen. A message sent or a relay transferred.
3) Logic. This is the relationship of the events. You can program it to require several events to produce the Action.
Full programming Instructions are on the CD. Textmitter, Inc. will be happy to assist you in programming at no charge.
